Shipping policy

Order Processing

All orders are processed within 2–3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays) before shipping. Every item is quality checked first. 
You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery times typically take 3 business days but may vary if your location is remote. We ship to New Zealand and Australia only. We quality check every product locally.

Please note: These are estimated delivery times only. Delays may occur due to customs processing, local courier issues, supplier delays or unforeseen events.  Most deliveries typically take 3-5 + business days.

Shipping Costs

Orders are delivered with tracked Post Express
1-3 Business days $10.00 NZD Express shipping for AUCKLAND
$12.00 NZD Express shipping for REST OF NEW ZEALAND
Free shipping on all orders $200 NZD and over
 Shipping rates apply on all orders of ×1 XL Courier bag.
 Maximum weight per order is 3kg.  
For Australian customers standard tracked courier shipping rate applies at checkout by location. Maximum weight per order is 2kg flat charge of $37.38 Economy Tracked shipping is $25.31 for under 1kg.
We currently do not ship For EU and US customers. Should we in future, local customs duties, VAT and or import taxes are prepaid for most regions. These are included in the product and shipping price unless it is specifically stated that they are the customer's responsibility. 
Returns or reshipping costs (if applicable) are the customer’s responsibility.

Taxes, Customs Duties & Import Fees
For European Union (EU) Customers
Although we do not currently sell to EU customers, should we do in future, we will use Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) shipping for all EU orders through our partners. This means:
All import taxes, VAT, customs duties, and fees are prepaid.
No additional charges will be required upon delivery for most regions.
Our partners act as the importer of record and handles customs clearance.
If Trekken Apparel chooses a non-DDP shipping option (where available), you may be required to pay VAT and import duties upon delivery. We do not currently charge tax as we are not registered for GST/VAT.

For Non-EU & Other International Customers
In countries where DDP shipping is not available, local customs duties, VAT, Tariff and import taxes may apply. These are not included in the product or shipping price unless specifically stated and so are the customer's responsibility.
Please check your country’s customs policies, local customs regulations and relevant authorities for tariff regulations before placing an order to ensure there are no surprise charges by your local authorities.

DDP & Price Transparency
All prices are listed in NZD.  For destinations where DDP shipping is available (e.g., EU), all import-related fees are included in your shipping cost - prepaid.
For destinations where DDP is not available, local taxes or import fees may apply and are the customer’s responsibility.

Tracking Your Order

All products are stocked in New Zealand and shipped directly from our Auckland location not dropshipped. Once your order ships, a tracking number will be issued and emailed to you.
Tracking updates may take up to 48 hours to become active.
If you don’t receive tracking details within 3 business days, please contact us.

Multiple Packages & Split Shipments
Orders may arrive in separate packages depending on item quantity or weight.
You will receive tracking numbers for each shipment. Note, expect delays during the Xmas peak periods.

Risk & Delivery Responsibility
Risk transfers to the customer once the courier confirms delivery.
Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order.

Lost, Delayed, or Undeliverable Packages
If your parcel hasn’t arrived within 10 business days, contact us and we will investigate.
If marked as delivered but not received, we will investigate and assist in working with the courier.
We are not liable for losses due to incorrect address details, missed deliveries, or unclaimed parcels.
If a parcel is returned due to non-delivery, incorrect address, or refusal to pay import duties (where applicable), the customer is responsible for:
Return shipping costs
Reshipping fees (if re-delivery is requested)
Any courier return-to-sender fees
Refunds for returned orders will be processed minus original shipping costs and applicable fees.

Delays Beyond Our Control
We are not responsible for delays caused by:
Natural disasters
Customs processing
Carrier disruptions
Political unrest
Global shipping congestion
All delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed.

Order Changes & Cancellations
Typically orders cannot be changed or cancelled once it is processed or shipped.
Please confirm all details and make sure they are 100% correct before placing your order.
We comply with New Zealand law and international - if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification.

Your Rights Under New Zealand Law
We comply with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair-Trading Act 1986.
If your item is faulty, damaged, or significantly not as described, please contact us within 7 days of delivery for assistance.

Limitation of Liability
Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to shipment or product use.

Payment & Fees Disclaimer
For clarity, all prices are listed in NZD and include the product cost plus any applicable shipping and fees.
For destinations where Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) shipping is available (e.g., the European Union), all import taxes, VAT, customs duties, tariff fees are included in your shipping cost and prepaid. You will not be charged additional fees upon delivery by us. *Please Note: we are not currently selling internationally.
For remote or other destinations where DDP shipping is not available, your order may be subject to local import taxes, customs duties, or fees, which are not included in the product or shipping price and must be paid by you directly to the relevant authorities upon import. * Please Note: We are not currently selling internationally.
Please check your country’s customs policies before placing an order. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for any applicable import charges where DDP does not apply.
